As an educator passionate about fostering mathematical curiosity and discovery, I cherish moments when learning becomes a vibrant, interactive journey. Recently, that moment unfolded at the Southern Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with MathHappens, an organization which made math a regular, and exciting, part of weekend programming.
Featured on KEYC News, the weekend event showcased the sheer joy and excitement as children delved into the world of shapes, patterns, and spatial reasoning. I’m excited that Geometiles was part of the event alongside other helpful learning resources. Watch the full segment (hint: stay till the very end for a ‘click’ moment) to witness the magic of geometric learning in action!
